It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It is hard for their hitters to possess a record if not afforded the chance.

"A chance to take the field and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun that way, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has become more firm - this victory coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
